   Use a diagnostic tool to confirm the code and check for secondary spool position sensor or CAN communication errors (e.g., M16, M17, M18, M20, M21)

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to External Valve 2 for chafing, corrosion, or loose connector pins

   Verify the spool position sensor values using a diagnostic tool to determine if the sensor is reading out of range or is physically stuck

   Isolate the Valve

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 2 (either on the rear remote stack or the mid-mount valve block, depending on tractor configuration).

   Clean and Reseat Connectors

   Disconnect the electrical connector to the valve's solenoid and spool position sensor. Clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and firmly reseat the connection.

   Test the Sensor/Solenoid

   If the code persists, test the spool position sensor and solenoid for proper resistance according to the OEM service manual specifications.

   Replace Faulty Components

   If the sensor is shorted/open or the valve spool is mechanically binding and cannot be freed, replace the spool position sensor or the entire External Hydraulic Valve 2 section.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the diagnostic tool and clear the 0A.21.25 DTC. Cycle the tractor's hydraulics to ensure the code does not return.
