   Inspect the wiring harness and connector at External Hydraulic Valve 2 for corrosion, damage, or loose pins

   Verify the spool position sensor value using a compatible diagnostic tool to check for out-of-range values

   Check for communication errors between the Dash and the Mid Mount Valve Module

   Verify fault code and monitor live data

   Connect a compatible diagnostic tool to retrieve and verify the active 0A.22.18 code and monitor the live data for External Valve 2.

   Inspect and clean connector

   Inspect and clean the electrical connector at the External Hydraulic Valve 2 module.

   Replace and reprogram valve module

   If the wiring is intact but the spool position sensor is failing, the electric spool slice (valve module) or its pilot pressure control may need to be replaced and reprogrammed to the tractor.

4. 4

   Clear DTCs

   Clear the DTCs after the repair is completed to verify the fix.
