   Connect a compatible diagnostic tool to retrieve and verify the active DTCs.

   Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connectors leading to External Hydraulic Valve 2 for corrosion, loose pins, or broken wires.

   Check the spool position sensor for correct voltage/resistance values to determine if the sensor has failed.

   Verify communication between the dash and the valve module to rule out a CAN bus or module communication error.

   Park the tractor on a level surface, lower all hydraulic implements, and relieve hydraulic system pressure.

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 2 on the rear remote valve stack or mid-mount valve block.

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the valve's spool position sensor and solenoids.

   If the wiring is damaged, repair the harness. If the sensor is faulty, remove the sensor housing from the spool valve.

   If the valve itself is leaking internally or mechanically binding, unbolt the valve section from the hydraulic block.

   Rebuild the valve using an OEM spool valve repair kit or replace the entire valve section.

   Reinstall the valve, torque the mounting bolts to factory specifications, and reconnect the electrical harness.

   Top off the hydraulic fluid, start the tractor, cycle the remote valve to bleed air from the system, and use the diagnostic tool to clear the DTC.
