   Check the hydraulic oil filter and transmission filter for blockages, and ensure proper fluid levels and condition (no contamination)

   Inspect the wiring harness and connections between the Dash, the Mid Mount Valve Module, and the Spool Position Sensor for damage or poor contact

   Inspect the external hydraulic valve body for worn seals, damaged couplers, worn hoses, or loose connections

   Evaluate hydraulic response to determine if the hydraulics are slow (restricted flow), weak (pressure/relief valve fault), or dead

   Listen for unusual noises like whining or banging that indicate air in the system or worn internal components

   Fluid Maintenance

   If the oil is contaminated, drain the hydraulic fluid and replace the hydraulic/transmission filters according to the manufacturer's guidelines to prevent further system wear.

   Address Minor Leaks

   Tighten any loose hydraulic fittings. If leaks persist around the valve, replace the worn O-rings and seals.

   Resolve Electrical Faults

   Repair or replace any damaged wiring harnesses or connectors leading to the External Hydraulic Valve 2 and its Spool Position Sensor.

   Free a Stuck Valve

   If the spool valve is physically sticking, attempt to release it by manually moving the pump control valve lever back and forth.

   Valve Replacement

   If the valve has worn internal components, is damaged beyond repair, or fails to control hydraulic functions after electrical checks, remove the faulty external hydraulic valve assembly and replace it with a high-quality OEM or aftermarket part.
