   Verify communication between the Dash and the Mid Mount Valve Module (check for related M16 errors)

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to External Hydraulic Valve 2 for corrosion, damage, or loose pins

   Use a compatible diagnostic tool to monitor the Spool Position Sensor value for Valve 2 to see if it is reading out of range or erratically

   Retrieve Codes

   Connect a compatible diagnostic tool to the tractor to confirm the 0A.23.29 code and check for any secondary codes (like M16 or M17).

   Inspect the Harness

   Locate the Mid Mount Valve Module and External Hydraulic Valve 2. Disconnect the wiring harness and inspect the terminals.

   Clean Connections

   Clean the connectors with electrical contact cleaner and reconnect them securely to rule out a simple connection problem.

   Test/Replace Sensor

   If the wiring is intact but the spool position sensor value is still incorrect, the spool position sensor on Valve 2 may need to be replaced.

   Replace Valve (if necessary)

   If the sensor is integrated or the valve itself has failed mechanically/electrically, replace the External Hydraulic Valve 2 (spool valve) assembly.

   Clear Codes

   After repair, use the diagnostic tool to clear the DTCs and test the hydraulic function to ensure the code does not return.
