   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 3 on the rear remote valve stack and visually inspect the wiring harness and connector for physical damage, corrosion, or loose pins

   Test the solenoid valve contacts for a short circuit to +12V, short circuit to 0V (Ground), or an open circuit

   Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic interface to retrieve the code, monitor live voltage to Valve 3, and attempt to clear the code to see if it is an active or stored fault

   Disconnect Power

   Disconnect the tractor's battery to prevent electrical spikes during repair.

   Access the Valve Block

   Navigate to the rear hydraulic remote stack and identify the 3rd spool slice (Valve 3).

   Clean and Re-seat

   If the diagnostic check revealed a poor connection, clean the solenoid contacts with electrical contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and re-seat the connector.

   Replace Solenoid/Slice

   If the solenoid has internally shorted (failed the resistance/voltage check), remove the retaining bolts for the Valve 3 electric spool slice or pilot pressure control solenoid and replace the faulty component.

   Reassemble and Calibrate

   Install the new valve slice/solenoid. Note: Some modern electric spool slices require programming/calibration to the tractor's ECU after installation.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the battery, connect the diagnostic tool, and clear the 0A.30.11 code. Test the hydraulic remote for proper operation.
