   Inspect the wiring harness leading to External Hydraulic Valve 3 at the rear remote block for frayed wires, corrosion, or loose connector pins.

   Test the solenoid coil for proper resistance and verify it is receiving voltage when the cab control is actuated.

   Check for mechanical binding to ensure the spool valve itself is not physically stuck due to debris or internal wear in the valve block.

   Use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the code and operate the valve to see if the code returns as an active fault.

   Relieve Hydraulic Pressure

   Ensure the tractor is off, implements are lowered to the ground, and all hydraulic pressure is relieved from the system.

   Access the Valve Block

   Locate the external hydraulic valve stack at the rear of the tractor. Identify Valve #3.

   Disconnect Electrical Connections

   Carefully unplug the wiring harness from the solenoid/electric spool slice for Valve 3.

   Remove the Faulty Component

   Depending on the diagnosis, remove the retaining bolts for the faulty solenoid coil or the entire electric spool slice.

   Install the Replacement Part

   Fit the new spool valve slice or solenoid, ensuring all O-rings and seals are properly seated to prevent leaks.

   Reassemble and Calibrate

   Reconnect the wiring harness. Note that some electronic spool slices (e.g., part 3797234M6) require programming/calibration to the tractor's ECU after installation.
