Check the cause
Inspect the wiring harness and the electrical connector at External Valve 3 for corrosion, bent pins, or wire chafing.
Verify if the spool valve is physically sticking in one direction, which can cause the system to flag an operational issue.
Check the valve block and quick couplers for hydraulic fluid leaks or pressure drops.
Repair steps
Relieve all hydraulic system pressure before beginning work.
Locate the rear remote valve block.
Often mounted directly on the lift cover under the seat or at the rear of the tractor.
Disconnect the electrical solenoid connector for Valve 3.
Disconnect the hydraulic lines/hoses leading to the valve.
Unbolt the faulty spool valve section from the hydraulic control block.
Rebuild or replace the spool valve.
If rebuilding, install an OEM spool valve repair kit (replacing internal seals and O-rings). If replacing, install the new 3rd spool valve assembly.
Reinstall the valve, torque mounting bolts to spec, and reconnect hydraulic lines and electrical connectors.
Clear the DTCs using a compatible diagnostic interface device and test the hydraulic remote for proper operation.
