Massey Ferguson 0A.32.13 – Auxiliary Control Module (ACM) or main tractor ECU: External Hydraulic Valve 3 Issue
Issue description
Malfunction in the circuit or operation of the 3rd external hydraulic remote valve (spool valve 3). This is triggered when the control unit detects an electrical anomaly (open circuit, short to ground, or short to power) in the valve's solenoid/actuator circuit, or when the valve spool fails to reach its commanded position due to mechanical binding or low system voltage.

Check the cause
Locate the 3rd external hydraulic valve at the rear remote stack and check if the diagnostic LED is flashing, indicating a localized fault.
Disconnect the wiring harness to the solenoid for valve 3 and inspect the connector for moisture, corrosion, or pushed-out pins.
Check the wiring harness for rub points or chafing that could cause a short to ground or an open circuit.
Measure the solenoid coil resistance with a multimeter to ensure it is within OEM specifications (not open or shorted).
Verify ground integrity to the valve block.
Check for mechanical binding of the spool or perform a spool leakage check to ensure internal contamination isn't preventing the valve from shifting.
Repair steps
Preparation
Park the tractor on a level surface, lower all implements to the ground, turn off the engine, and cycle the hydraulic levers/controls to relieve all residual hydraulic pressure.
Access the Valve
Clean the area around the rear hydraulic remote stack to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system.
Harness Repair
If the diagnostic checks revealed a broken wire or corroded connector at valve 3, splice in a new connector pigtail or repair the harness wiring.
Solenoid Replacement
If the solenoid coil tested out of specification, unbolt the actuator/solenoid from the 3rd valve body and replace it.
Valve Replacement
If the internal spool is scored, leaking, or binding, remove the tie-bolts holding the valve stack together, carefully remove the 3rd valve section, and install the replacement valve with new O-rings between the sections.
Reassembly & Calibration
Torque the valve stack bolts to OEM specifications. Reconnect the electrical harness.
Clear Codes
Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool or interface device to clear the 0A.32.13 code from the system.
Testing
Start the tractor and operate the 3rd remote valve to ensure proper function and verify that the code does not return.
