   Visually inspect the wiring harness leading to External Hydraulic Valve 3 for frayed wires, corrosion, or loose connector pins.

   Test the electrical resistance of the solenoid on Valve 3 using a multimeter to ensure it is within OEM specifications (checking for an open or short circuit).

   Attempt to clear the code using the diagnostic tool or dashboard menu and operate the hydraulic remote to see if the code returns immediately, confirming a hard fault.

   Safety First

   Park the tractor on a level surface, lower all hydraulic implements to the ground to relieve system pressure, and turn off the engine.

   Locate Valve 3

   Identify the external hydraulic valve block (usually located at the rear of the tractor above the rear axle/lift cover). Locate the specific spool/solenoid designated as Valve 3.

   Repair Wiring/Connector

   If the diagnostic check revealed a damaged connector or wiring, splice in a new connector pigtail or repair the damaged wire.

   Replace the Valve/Solenoid

   If the wiring is intact but the valve solenoid failed the multimeter test, disconnect the electrical connector. Unbolt the faulty solenoid or the entire valve spool section (depending on whether the solenoid is serviced separately on your specific model).

   Install the replacement valve or solenoid. Ensure all O-rings are properly seated and lubricated with clean hydraulic fluid to prevent leaks. Torque mounting bolts to OEM specifications.
