Malfunction, communication failure, or connection problem with the third external hydraulic remote (spool valve) on the tractor.

   Use a compatible diagnostic tool to verify the code is active

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 3 at the rear remote block and inspect the electrical connector for dirt, moisture, corrosion, or bent pins

   Test the wiring harness leading to the valve for continuity, open circuits, or shorts to ground/power

   Check the resistance of the valve's solenoid/electric spool slice to determine if the internal coil has failed

   Ensure the tractor is turned off and hydraulic pressure is relieved from the system.

   Disconnect the wiring harness from External Hydraulic Valve 3.

   Clean the connector contacts using electrical contact cleaner.

   If the wiring harness is damaged, repair or replace the affected wiring section.

   If the wiring and connections are good but the fault persists, the electric spool slice (valve head) is likely defective and must be replaced.

   Unbolt the faulty electric spool slice from the hydraulic valve block.

   Be prepared to catch residual hydraulic fluid.

   Install the new spool valve/slice and torque the mounting bolts to OEM specifications.

   Reconnect the electrical harness.

   Program/calibrate the new electric spool slice to the tractor's ECU using a dealer diagnostic tool.

   Depending on the model, this may be required.

   Clear the DTCs and test the hydraulic remote for proper operation.
