   Retrieve and verify codes using a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to confirm the code and check for any accompanying codes related to pilot pressure or electrical faults

   Inspect the external hydraulic valve 3 assembly for physical damage, hydraulic fluid leaks at the quick couplers, or damaged O-rings

   Check the wiring harness and connections leading to the electric spool slice and the pilot pressure control unit (for tractors equipped with electronic spool valves)

   Depressurize the System

   Ensure the tractor is off and hydraulic pressure is relieved from the remote valves.

   Isolate the Faulty Component

   Determine if the issue is a mechanical seal failure or an electronic failure.

   Rebuild or Replace

   If mechanical: Use an OEM spool valve repair kit to replace internal seals and components. If electronic: Remove the faulty electric spool slice (Valve 3) and install a replacement unit.

   Programming

   If replacing an electric spool slice (e.g., part 3797234M6), the new unit must be programmed to the tractor using a dealer diagnostic tool.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the diagnostic interface and clear the 0A.33.29 DTC from the system.
