   Thoroughly clean the area around External Hydraulic Valve 3 to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system.

   Repair Wiring/Connections

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a damaged connector or wiring, repair the harness or replace the pigtail connector. Apply dielectric grease to the pins to prevent future corrosion.

   Replace the Solenoid/Valve

   If the wiring is intact but the solenoid fails electrical testing (or the spool is mechanically stuck), remove the retaining bolts for the electronic solenoid or the entire spool valve assembly (depending on whether the solenoid is serviced separately on your specific model).

   Install the replacement valve or solenoid, ensuring all O-rings are properly seated and lubricated with clean hydraulic fluid. Torque mounting bolts to OEM specifications.

   Reconnect the diagnostic tool, clear the 0A.3X.18 fault code, start the tractor, and actuate the #3 remote valve to ensure proper operation and check for leaks.
