   Fluid Inspection: Check the hydraulic fluid (UTTO) level and condition. Contaminated fluid can cause the valve to stick or operate erratically.

   Visual Leak Check: Inspect External Valve 3 for physical fluid leaks around the valve body, seals, or loose connections.

   Electrical Testing: Inspect the wiring harness and connector going to the Valve 3 electric spool slice for corrosion, damage, or a loose connection.

   Pressure Test: Check for fluctuating hydraulic pressure or sluggish response specifically when operating the 3rd remote function.

   Depressurize the System

   Turn off the tractor and cycle the hydraulic controls to relieve all pressure from the hydraulic system.

   Disconnect Electricals

   Unplug the electrical connector from the faulty electric spool slice (Valve 3).

   Remove Hydraulic Lines

   Carefully disconnect the hydraulic hoses/fittings attached to the valve. Have a catch pan ready for residual UTTO fluid.

   Remove the Valve

   Unbolt the electric spool slice from the hydraulic valve stack.

   Repair or Replace

   If rebuilding: Use an OEM repair kit to replace the internal seals and worn components. If replacing: Mount the new electric spool slice to the valve block and torque the bolts to factory specifications.

   Reassembly

   Reconnect the hydraulic lines and the electrical harness.

   Programming

   Crucial Step — If a new electric spool slice is installed, it must be programmed to the tractor's ECU using a compatible diagnostic tool.

   Final Check

   Top up the hydraulic fluid, start the tractor, and test the 3rd remote for leaks and proper operation.
