   Inspect the electrical connector at External Hydraulic Valve 4 for corrosion, bent pins, or moisture ingress.

   Verify the continuity of the wiring between the valve solenoid and the tractor's wiring harness.

   Test the solenoid on Valve 4 to ensure it is receiving proper voltage when actuated from the cab.

   Use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the code and cycle the hydraulic valve to see if the code returns as an active fault.

   Relieve pressure

   Ensure the tractor is turned off and hydraulic pressure is fully relieved.

   Remove bolts

   Remove the bolts securing the cap/plate on the hydraulic lift cover.

   Detach cap

   Detach the cap from the standpipe, ensuring the standpipe is not dislodged from its seat in the hydraulic pump.

   Disconnect harness

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the faulty External Hydraulic Valve 4.

   Remove valve

   Remove the bolts securing the faulty valve to the base plate.

   Install new valve

   Fit the new control valve to the base plate, ensuring the standpipe is correctly located into its seat.

   Secure and reconnect

   Secure the new valve with the mounting bolts and reconnect the electrical harness.

   Test operation

   Top off hydraulic fluid if any was lost, start the tractor, and test the remote for proper operation and leakages.
