   Thoroughly inspect the wiring harness leading to External Valve 5 at the rear remote stack. Look for frayed wires, corrosion, or loose connector pins.

   Check the electrical solenoid on Valve 5 for proper resistance and ensure it is receiving the correct voltage signal from the tractor's harness when activated.

   Relieve Hydraulic Pressure

   Ensure the tractor is turned off and relieve all hydraulic system pressure before servicing the valve block.

   Clean the Area

   Thoroughly clean the rear remote valve stack to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system during disassembly.

   Address Wiring Issues

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a damaged connector or wiring harness, repair or replace the affected pigtail/connector. Clean the contacts and apply dielectric grease.

   Remove the Faulty Valve

   If the valve itself is deemed faulty, disconnect the electrical connectors and hydraulic lines attached to External Valve 5.

   Unbolt the Spool Section

   Remove the tie-bolts holding the spool valve stack together and carefully extract the faulty Valve 5 section.
