   Use a compatible diagnostic tool or interface device to retrieve the active codes and confirm 0A.50.2A is present.

   Physically inspect the wiring harness and the electrical connector plugging into the External Hydraulic Valve 5 solenoid for corrosion, damage, or a loose fit.

   Refer to the specific tractor's service manual to interpret the exact testing parameters for the valve's electrical circuit.

   Locate valve

   Locate the external hydraulic valve block at the rear of the tractor and identify spool valve slice #5.

   Inspect and clean connector

   Disconnect the electrical connector to the solenoid on valve 5. Clean the contacts and check for broken wires. Reconnect and test to see if the code clears.

   Replace solenoid/electrovalve

   If the wiring is intact but the fault persists, the solenoid coil or the electrovalve itself is likely faulty and must be replaced.

   Depressurize system

   Depressurize the hydraulic system before removing the faulty valve or solenoid.

   Install replacement

   Install the replacement solenoid/valve (using the appropriate OEM part numbers below).

   Clear DTCs
