   Check the wiring harness and electrical connector at External Valve 5 for corrosion, frayed wires, or loose connections

   Inspect the hydraulic/transmission fluid level and condition to ensure dirty oil or a blocked filter is not restricting flow

   Inspect Valve 5 for external leaks, physical damage, or debris that could cause the spool to jam

   Test the hydraulic pressure at the remote couplers to determine if the issue is isolated to Valve 5 or if it is a broader system pressure issue

   Depressurize the System

   Turn off the tractor, lower all implements to the ground, and cycle the hydraulic controls to relieve all residual pressure in the system.

   Drain/Contain Fluid

   Place a catch pan under the rear remote valve block to catch any hydraulic fluid (UTTO) that will leak during removal.

   Disconnect Electricals

   Carefully unplug the electrical solenoid connector from Valve 5.

   Remove Hoses/Lines

   Disconnect the hydraulic lines and couplers attached to the specific valve slice. Cap the lines to prevent contamination.

   Unbolt the Valve

   Remove the mounting bolts securing Valve 5 to the hydraulic valve stack/block. Carefully slide the valve out, ensuring you do not damage the mating surfaces or adjacent valves.

   Install the New Valve

   Clean the mounting surface. Install the new valve using new O-rings/seals. Torque the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specification.

   Reassemble and Refill

   Reconnect the hydraulic lines and the electrical connector. Replace the hydraulic filter and top off the system with OEM-approved UTTO fluid.

   Calibrate and Test

   Start the tractor, allow the fluid to warm up, and test the remote valve for proper operation and leaks. You may need to use a diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.53.13 code and calibrate the new valve via the Datatronic system.
