   Relieve Pressure

   Turn off the tractor and cycle the hydraulic controls to relieve all pressure in the hydraulic system before servicing.

   Thoroughly clean the rear remote valve stack to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system during disassembly.

   Address Wiring (If Applicable)

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a corroded connector or broken wire, repair the wiring harness, apply dielectric grease to the connector, and re-seat it. Clear the code to see if the issue resolves.

   Remove the Valve

   If the valve/solenoid itself has failed, disconnect the electrical connector and the hydraulic lines attached to Valve 5.

   Remove the mounting bolts securing the spool valve to the hydraulic lift cover or valve block.
