   Use a compatible diagnostic tool or interface device to confirm if the code is active or stored

   Thoroughly check the electrical connector at External Hydraulic Valve 5 for corrosion, loose pins, or debris

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the valve for any shorts, opens, or physical damage

   Resolve Wiring Issues

   If a short or open is found in the harness or connector during the diagnostic phase, repair the wiring or replace the pigtail connector.

   Replace the Valve

   If the wiring and connections are intact and receiving proper voltage, the solenoid or the external hydraulic valve block itself has failed and must be replaced.

   Clear Codes

   After the repair is complete, use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic interface tool to clear the DTCs from the tractor's onboard diagnostic system and verify the repair.
