Check the cause

  1. Verify the hydraulic fluid (UTTO) level and condition. Ensure the hydraulic filters have been changed within the last 300-500 hours, as contaminated fluid can cause valve malfunctions.

  2. Inspect the external hydraulic valve block (specifically Valve 6) for visible leaks, damaged hoses, or faulty quick couplers.

  3. Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connector leading to Valve 6. Look for corrosion, broken wires, or loose connections that would interrupt the signal from the cab controls.

  4. If the fluid is heavily contaminated, flush the system before installing a new valve to prevent immediate failure of the replacement part.

Repair steps

  1. Preparation

Park the tractor on a level surface, lower all implements to the ground, and turn off the engine.

  2. Relieve pressure

Cycle the hydraulic control levers/buttons in the cab to relieve any residual hydraulic pressure in the system.

  3. Locate the valve

Locate the rear external hydraulic valve stack and identify the 6th spool valve assembly.

  4. Disconnect electricals

Carefully unplug the electrical wiring harness connector from the valve's solenoid.

  5. Remove hoses

Place a catch pan underneath the valve block. Disconnect the hydraulic lines and couplers attached to Valve 6.

  6. Remove the valve

Unbolt the valve assembly from the hydraulic manifold/stack.

  7. Replace or rebuild

Install a new electronic spool valve or rebuild the existing one using an OEM seal/O-ring kit.

  8. Reinstallation

Bolt the new/repaired valve back onto the stack. Reconnect the hydraulic lines and plug in the electrical connector.

  9. Fluid top-up and testing

Top up the hydraulic fluid with OEM-spec UTTO fluid. Start the tractor, allow the system to warm up, and test the valve's operation while checking for leaks.

  10. Clear codes

Use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.60.11 code from the system.
