Massey Ferguson 0A.60.19 – Hydraulic Valve Control Module: External Hydraulic Valve 6 Issue

   Electrical Connections: Check the wiring harness and electrical connector at External Hydraulic Valve 6 for corrosion, damaged pins, or broken wires.

   Fluid & Filtration: Check the hydraulic oil level and condition. Dirty or contaminated oil is a leading cause of sticky spool valves.

   Fluid & Filtration: Inspect the hydraulic/transmission oil filter for blockages.

   Visual Inspection: Look for oil leaks around the valve block, damaged couplers, or worn hoses.

   Mechanical Function: Test if the remote service is weak, slow, or dead. A sticky spool, faulty detent, or relief valve issue can cause poor performance.

   Relieve Pressure

   Turn off the tractor and relieve all hydraulic system pressure before beginning work.

   Disconnect Electricals

   Unplug the electrical connector to the Valve 6 solenoid.

   Remove Hoses

   Disconnect the hydraulic lines attached to the valve. Cap all hoses and fittings immediately to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system.

   Remove Valve

   Unbolt and remove the spool valve assembly from the rear remote stack or mid-mount block.

   Disassemble & Clean

   Carefully disassemble the valve on a clean workbench. Inspect the spool for scoring, and check the detent mechanisms and return springs. Clean all components thoroughly.

   Install Repair Kit

   Replace all O-rings, seals, and worn linkage parts using an OEM spool valve repair kit. Do not reuse old seals.

   Reassemble

   Reassemble the valve block and reinstall it onto the tractor. Torque mounting bolts to OEM specifications.

   Reconnect

   Reattach the hydraulic hoses and plug the electrical connector back in.

   Test & Clear

   Top up the hydraulic/transmission fluid if any was lost. Start the tractor, test the remote valve for leaks and proper operation, and use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.60.19 DTC from the system.
