Check the cause
Use a compatible diagnostic tool or interface device to pull the active codes and confirm 0A.61.13 is present.
Check for a connection problem on the hydraulic valve. Inspect the cable harness and connectors between the control unit and External Hydraulic Valve 6 for damage, corrosion, or loose pins.
Check the voltage and ground circuits to the valve's solenoid to ensure it is receiving the proper signal from the ECU.
Repair steps
Locate the Valve
Identify External Hydraulic Valve 6 on the tractor's rear hydraulic remote stack.
Wiring Repair
If the diagnostic checks reveal a broken wire or corroded connector in the harness leading to Valve 6, repair or replace the affected wiring.
Valve/Solenoid Replacement
If the wiring and voltage are correct but the code persists, the hydraulic valve or its electronic solenoid has failed internally and must be replaced.
Clear Codes
After replacing the valve or repairing the connection, use the Massey Ferguson compatible diagnostic tool to clear the DTCs from the system and verify the repair.
