   Use a compatible diagnostic tool to confirm the presence of 0A.61.1A and check for any other related hydraulic codes

   Thoroughly inspect the wiring harness and electrical connector going to External Hydraulic Valve 6 for connection problems

   Inspect the physical electric spool slice/valve for signs of damage, leaks, or electrical failure

   Locate valve

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 6 on the tractor's rear hydraulic valve block.

   Clean and reseat connector

   Clean and reseat the electrical connector to the valve to rule out a simple connection issue. Repair any damaged wiring in the harness leading to the valve.

   Replace faulty components

   If the wiring is intact but the fault persists, the electric spool slice (valve) itself or its pilot pressure control is likely faulty and must be replaced.

   Install replacement unit

   Remove the faulty spool valve and install the replacement unit. Note: If replacing the entire Electric Spool Slice, the new unit may need to be programmed to the tractor's system to function correctly.

   Clear DTCs and test

   Clear the DTCs using your diagnostic tool and test the hydraulic remote to ensure the issue is resolved.
