   Disconnect the electrical harness from the Valve 6 solenoid. Remove the retaining nut or plug holding the solenoid coil in place. Slide the old coil off the actuator tube and replace it with a new one.

   Remove the linkage or lever from the front of the spool. Unscrew the large pipe/plug from the rear of the valve body. Carefully withdraw the spool from the valve body. Note: Watch for spring-loaded detent balls and cups; use a small magnet to safely extract them so they do not fall into the housing. Inspect the spool and the actuator tube for scoring or damage. If damaged, the entire valve assembly may need replacement. Replace all O-rings and seals using an OEM repair kit.

   Lubricate the new seals with clean hydraulic fluid, reinsert the spool and detent assembly, and tighten the rear plug. Reattach the linkages and electrical connectors.

   Turn the tractor on, clear the error code from the dashboard control unit, and test the remote valve for proper operation and leaks.
