Check the cause
Retrieve and verify codes using a compatible diagnostic tool, checking for related electrical codes like 0A.41.FF which point to connection problems.
Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connector at the #6 external hydraulic valve for corrosion, backed-out pins, or wire chafing.
Verify that the hydraulic fluid is at the correct level and that the hydraulic filters are not clogged, as low fluid or flow restrictions can cause valve operation issues.
Repair steps
Relieve hydraulic pressure
Relieve hydraulic system pressure before servicing the valve block.
Repair or replace wiring
Repair or replace the electrical connector/wiring harness to Valve 6 if a connection issue is found.
Replace electronic spool valve
If the wiring is intact, the electronic spool valve (or its solenoid) is likely faulty and must be removed and replaced.
Clear DTCs and test
After replacement, clear the DTCs using a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic interface and test the hydraulic remote for proper operation.
Parts you might need
(1)External Hydraulic Valve Assembly / Electronic Spool Valve
The exact part number will depend heavily on the specific tractor model, the hydraulic system type (e.g., Open Center vs. Closed Center Load Sensing), and the flow rate (e.g., 110 l/min vs 150 l/min). Consult the dealer parts catalog with the tractor's serial number.
