   Visually inspect the wiring harness leading to External Valve 6 for any visible rub points, breaks, or melted insulation.

   Disconnect the solenoid connector at the valve and check for corrosion, dirt, or loose pins that could cause a connection problem.

   Use a multimeter to check the solenoid coil resistance, verify ground integrity, and check for an open circuit or a short to ground.

   Verify if the valve spool is mechanically stuck or blocked by debris in the hydraulic system.

   Locate the Valve

   Identify External Hydraulic Valve 6 in the rear remote valve stack.

   Clean and Reconnect

   If the diagnostic checks reveal a dirty or loose connector, clean the terminals with contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and securely reconnect it.

   Repair Wiring

   If a short or open circuit is found in the harness, splice and repair the damaged section of the wiring.

   Replace Solenoid/Valve

   If the wiring is intact but the solenoid fails the resistance test (or the valve is internally seized), replace the hydraulic valve solenoid or the entire valve section.
