Issue description
Malfunction, restriction, or electrical connection problem associated with the 6th external hydraulic remote/spool valve on the tractor. Check the cause
Check the hydraulic fluid (UTTO) level and condition. Contaminated oil or a blocked hydraulic/transmission filter is a leading cause of valve issues.
Inspect External Valve 6 for visible leaks, damaged couplers, or worn hoses.
Check the wiring harness and electrical connector at the valve solenoid for corrosion, damage, or loose pins (connection problems are highly common for these specific valve codes).
Check if the valve spool is sticking or jamming due to internal wear or debris.
Repair steps
Depressurize the System
Turn off the tractor and cycle the hydraulic controls to relieve all pressure in the system before beginning work.
Clean the Area
Thoroughly clean the area around the rear remote valve stack to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system.
Disconnect Electricals
Unplug the electrical harness connected to External Valve 6.
Remove Hoses
Disconnect the hydraulic lines/hoses attached to the valve. Cap the lines immediately to prevent fluid loss and contamination.
Unbolt the Valve
Remove the mounting bolts securing Valve 6 to the hydraulic block or lift cover assembly.
Install New Valve/Seals
If rebuilding, replace the internal O-rings and seals. If replacing, mount the new valve assembly and torque the bolts to OEM specifications.
Reassemble
Reconnect the hydraulic lines and the electrical harness.
Fluid & Bleed

Use a diagnostic tool to clear code 0A.63.24 and verify the repair.
