   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to External Hydraulic Valve 6 for connection problems.

   Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool or interface device to retrieve the code, check for active vs. stored status, and monitor the live data for Valve 6 to see if it responds to command inputs.

   Isolate the Circuit

   Turn off the tractor and relieve all hydraulic pressure from the system before servicing the valves.

   Clean and Reconnect

   If corrosion or a loose connection is found at the Valve 6 solenoid, clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and securely reconnect the harness.

   Test the Solenoid/Valve

   If the wiring is intact, test the valve's solenoid for proper resistance. If the solenoid is shorted or open, it must be replaced.

   If the mechanical spool is binding or the electrical solenoid has failed internally, remove the mounting hardware and hydraulic lines, and replace the External Hydraulic Valve assembly.
