   Use a multimeter to check the solenoid coil resistance and verify ground integrity. Check for an open circuit or a short to ground/power.

   Perform a swap test (if applicable): Swap the solenoid from Valve 7 with an adjacent valve (e.g., Valve 6). Clear the codes and operate the hydraulics. If the code moves to the new valve position, the solenoid is faulty. If the code remains at Valve 7, the issue is in the wiring harness or the ECU.

   Lower all implements to the ground, turn off the engine, and cycle the hydraulic levers/controls to relieve all residual hydraulic pressure in the system.

   Locate the rear external hydraulic valve stack. Identify Valve 7 (refer to your specific model's service manual for the exact stacking order).

   Access the Valve Block

   Unplug the electrical harness connector from the Valve 7 solenoid. Disconnect the associated hydraulic lines, capping them immediately to prevent contamination.

   Disconnect Electrical & Hydraulics

   Unbolt the faulty spool valve or solenoid assembly from the hydraulic block.

   Remove the Valve/Solenoid

   Mount the new spool valve or solenoid. Ensure all O-rings and mating surfaces are clean and properly seated. Torque the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specification.

   Install the Replacement

   Reassemble and Test
