   Navigate to the hydraulics page on the Datatronic 5 terminal (if equipped) to verify the settings, flow rates, and naming for Valve 7.

   Check the spool valve detents for rust, which can make it impossible to move the levers or for electronic actuators to shift the spool.

   Perform a spool leakage check by connecting a hydraulic hand pump to the Valve 7 port and pressurizing to 2500 psi with the control handle in Neutral. Inability to pressurize indicates oil leaking around the spool.

   Ensure the UTTO hydraulic fluid is at the correct level and hydraulic filters are not clogged with contaminants.

   Relieve Pressure

   Shut off the engine, engage the brakes, and relieve all hydraulic pressure from the system before servicing the valve.

   Remove the external hydraulic valve assembly from the rear valve block.

   Disassemble the valve to ensure no foreign contamination is restricting the return port or the porting between the centering springs.
