   Retrieve and verify codes using a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to confirm 0A.81.1A is active and check for any accompanying voltage or connection codes.

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to External Hydraulic Valve 8 for frayed wires, corrosion, or a loose connector at the valve solenoid.

   Disconnect the 4-pin electrical plug at the valve and test the solenoid for proper resistance using a multimeter.

   Check for mechanical binding by verifying if the valve can be manually actuated (if equipped with a manual override) or if the hydraulic oil flow rate is restricted.

   Depressurize the System

   Turn off the tractor and actuate the hydraulic levers/buttons to relieve all residual hydraulic pressure in the system.

   Locate Valve 8

   Identify External Hydraulic Valve 8 on the rear auxiliary spool valve stack.
