   Terminal Verification: Navigate to the hydraulics page on the Datatronic terminal to check the flow settings, naming, and status of Valve 8.

   Electrical Inspection: Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connections going to the specific electric spool slice for Valve 8. Look for corrosion, loose pins, or damaged cables (such as the spool valve cable).

   Hydraulic Inspection: Check the valve block for physical damage, leaks, or a failed pilot pressure control unit.

   Relieve all hydraulic pressure from the system before beginning work.
