   Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to retrieve the code and check for any secondary codes (like signal voltage or amp draw faults)

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to External Hydraulic Valve 8 for damage, corrosion, or loose connections

   Consult the specific tractor's service manual to interpret the exact electrical values expected at the valve solenoid

   Relieve hydraulic pressure

   Relieve hydraulic system pressure before servicing the valve block.

   Disconnect electrical harness

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the affected spool valve (Valve 8).

   Remove faulty spool valve

   Remove the hydraulic lines and unbolt the faulty spool valve section from the manifold/valve stack.

   Install replacement assembly

   Install the replacement spool valve/solenoid assembly.

   Reconnect and clear DTCs

   Reconnect hydraulic lines and electrical connectors, then clear the DTCs using a diagnostic tool.
