   Check the hydraulic fluid for low levels, dirt, or contamination

   Fluid & Filter Service

   Drain the contaminated hydraulic oil and replace the hydraulic/transmission filters. Refill with Massey Ferguson Premium Hydraulic Oil.

   Coupler Replacement

   If the diagnostic checks reveal blocked or faulty quick-release couplers at the remote block, depressurize the system and replace the couplers.

   Valve Inspection

   If the fluid and filters are clean but Valve 8 is still unresponsive, locate the external hydraulic valve block.

   Electrical Check

   Inspect the wiring harness and solenoid connections leading to Valve 8 for open circuits, shorts, or corrosion (common in electro-hydraulic spool setups).

   Valve Replacement

   If the spool valve is mechanically stuck or internally damaged, unbolt the specific spool section from the hydraulic lift cover/valve stack. Install the replacement spool valve or diverter valve, ensuring all O-rings and sealing washers are properly seated.

   Clear Codes

   Use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.8X.24 code from the onboard diagnostic system and test the implement under load.
