Issue description
This code indicates that the electrical current (amperage) being drawn by the solenoid on the loader's mid-mount electro-hydraulic valve is exceeding the normal operating threshold. This condition is typically caused by an internal short circuit within the solenoid coil itself, a short-to-ground in the wiring harness leading to the solenoid, or a mechanically stuck or binding valve spool that is causing the solenoid to overwork and draw excessive current.

Check the cause
Visual Wiring Inspection: Inspect the wiring harness and connectors running from the Mid Mount Valve Module to the loader valve block. Look for pinched wires, chafed insulation, or melted connectors that could be causing a short to ground.
Coil Resistance Test: Disconnect the electrical connector at the suspect solenoid. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance (Ohms) across the solenoid pins. A reading of zero or near-zero indicates an internal short in the coil, confirming the solenoid is bad.
Mechanical Spool Check: Remove the solenoid coil and manually actuate the valve spool (if accessible) to ensure it moves freely. If the spool is jammed by hydraulic contamination, a new solenoid will not fix the underlying issue and may burn out again.
Voltage/Signal Test: With the solenoid disconnected, probe the harness connector while actuating the loader joystick to ensure the module is sending the correct 12V signal without erratic spikes.
Repair steps
Preparation
Park the tractor on a level surface, lower the loader to the ground to relieve all hydraulic pressure, turn off the engine, and disconnect the negative battery cable.
Locate the Valve
Locate the mid-mount electro-hydraulic valve block (typically mounted on the right side of the tractor near the loader subframe or under the cab).
Disconnect
Unplug the electrical wiring harness connector from the faulty solenoid.
Removal
Remove the retaining nut or screws securing the solenoid coil to the valve cartridge stem. Slide the faulty solenoid off the stem.
Clean and Inspect
Wipe down the valve stem. Check for any signs of hydraulic fluid leakage from the cartridge, which could indicate a failed O-ring that might have shorted the previous coil.
Installation
Slide the new 12V solenoid coil over the valve stem and tighten the retaining nut to the manufacturer's torque specification (do not overtighten, as this can distort the valve).
Reassembly
Reconnect the electrical harness to the new solenoid. Reconnect the battery.
Testing
Start the tractor and operate the loader joystick through all its functions. Verify that the loader operates smoothly and that the 0B.00.06 fault code has cleared from the dash.
