Massey Ferguson 0B.02.10 – Mid Mount Valve Module: Loader Mid Mount Electro Valve Solenoid Open Circuit
Issue description
The electrical circuit controlling the solenoid for the mid-mount loader valve has been broken or disconnected, preventing the solenoid from receiving the electrical current needed to actuate the hydraulic valve.

Check the cause
Inspect the wiring harness running from the Mid Mount Valve Module to the loader electro valve solenoid for disconnected plugs, broken wires, or chafing
Disconnect the plug at the mid-mount valve solenoid and check for corrosion, bent pins, or moisture inside the connector
Using a multimeter, measure the resistance (Ohms) across the pins of the solenoid coil itself to check for an open internal coil (infinite/OL reading)
If the solenoid tests good, check the continuity of the wiring harness between the solenoid connector and the Mid Mount Valve Module to locate the break in the wire
Repair steps
Disconnect Power
Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during repair.
Access the Valve Block
Locate the mid-mount electro-hydraulic valve block (typically mounted under the right-hand side of the cab or along the chassis rail, depending on the exact model).
Repair Wiring (If Applicable)
If a broken wire was found during diagnostics, splice and seal the wire using weatherproof heat-shrink connectors, or replace the damaged harness section.
Replace Solenoid (If Applicable)
If the solenoid coil tested open: Unplug the electrical connector from the faulty solenoid. Remove the retaining nut holding the solenoid coil to the valve stem. Slide the old solenoid coil off the valve cartridge. Slide the new solenoid coil onto the stem and secure it with the retaining nut (do not overtighten). Reconnect the electrical plug.
Clear Codes
Reconnect the battery, turn the key on, and use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to clear the 0B.02.10 DTC from the system. Test the loader functions to ensure the code does not return.
