  3. Verify the sensor's reference voltage (typically 5V) and ground using a multimeter. Monitor the signal wire; it should read around 2.5V in neutral and sweep smoothly as the spool moves.

  4. Ensure the spool valve itself is not mechanically sticking due to debris or hydraulic fluid contamination.

Repair steps

  1. Depressurize the system

    Turn off the tractor and cycle the hydraulic joystick to relieve any residual hydraulic pressure in the mid-mount valve block.

  2. Locate the sensor
