Massey Ferguson 0B.X.16 – Dash Control Center (DCC) / Instrument Panel: No Communication Between The Dash and The Mid Mount Valve Module
Issue description
This indicates a loss of CAN bus communication or a wiring failure between the tractor's main instrument panel and the electro-hydraulic module that controls the mid-mount valves.

Check the cause
Check for accompanying mid-mount valve codes (e.g., 0B.01.01 through 0B.01.08 for solenoid open circuits or amp draw issues, or 0B.00.24 for loader selector switch voltage issues)
Inspect the wiring harness running from the mid-mount valve to the cab/dash for chafing, cuts, or pinched wires
Disconnect the harness at the Mid Mount Valve Module and check for water ingress, bent pins, or corrosion
Verify that the module is receiving 12V power and a solid ground
Test the CAN High and CAN Low lines for continuity between the valve module connector and the Dash Control Center
Repair steps
Power Down
Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes.
Access the Valve
Locate the mid-mount valve assembly (typically mounted on the right side of the mid-chassis, following the loader hydraulic lines).
Harness Repair
If the diagnostic checks revealed a broken CAN wire or power wire, repair the damaged section of the harness using weather-sealed connectors, or replace the mid-mount valve wiring loom.
Module Replacement
If the wiring, power, and ground are all intact but communication cannot be established, the electronic controller on the Mid Mount Valve is likely internally failed. Remove the retaining bolts and hydraulic connections (be sure to relieve hydraulic pressure first) and replace the valve/module assembly.
Reassembly and Calibration
Reconnect the hydraulic lines and electrical harness. Reconnect the battery. Note: A new mid-mount valve module may require calibration via the Dash Control Center or a dealer diagnostic tool (EDT) to sync the spool position sensors (related to calibration codes 0B.00.22 / 0B.00.23).
