   Check the Fuses: Inspect the main cab fuse box (often located in the lower right-hand section of the instrument panel or cab roof, depending on the model). Look for blown fuses protecting the ventilation and air conditioning circuits (typically 30A or 50A fuses).

   Locate and Inspect the Relay: Find the relay for the optional cab extra fan. Relays are generally located in the cab fuse/relay panel (left or right of the instrument panel) or routed down the cab posts. Inspect the relay for melted plastic, burnt pins, or corrosion.

   Test the Wiring Harness: Use a multimeter to check the wiring harness between the AIRCON module and the relay. Verify that the proper voltage is reaching the relay coil when the fan is commanded on. Look for breaks, chafing, or damaged disconnects in the wiring harness.

   Test the Relay: Swap the relay with a known good relay of the same amperage rating (e.g., a standard 5-pin 12V relay) to see if the fault clears.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor, remove the key, and disconnect the battery isolator/ground to prevent electrical shorts.

   Access the Relay Panel

   Open the cab fuse and relay box cover. Consult the decal on the inside of the cover or the operator's manual to pinpoint the exact position of the 'Optional Cab Extra Fan' relay.

   Replace the Relay

   If the relay failed the diagnostic swap test or shows physical damage, pull the old relay out and push the new OEM replacement firmly into the socket.

   Repair Wiring (If Applicable)

   If the multimeter test showed a break in the signal wire from the AC module, trace the harness (often down the LH or RH front cab posts). Repair any broken wires or clean corroded disconnect terminals.

   Reassemble and Test

   Reconnect the battery. Start the tractor and turn on the AC and the optional cab fan.

   Clear Codes

   If the code does not clear automatically, use the AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) to clear the logged 10.00.23 fault from the AIRCON module.
