Massey Ferguson 10.00.30 – AIRCON: Issue With Signal To Right Cab Fan Speed Controller (AIRCON)

The climate control system has detected an electrical fault (such as an open circuit, short circuit, or component failure) in the signal circuit communicating with the right-side blower motor resistor/speed regulator. When this occurs, the right cab fan may only operate on a single speed (usually high) or fail to operate entirely.

   Verify the symptom by turning on the tractor's AC/heater and testing the right-side cab fan on all manual speed settings. If it only works on high or not at all, the resistor is likely faulty.

   Access the right cab fan speed controller (resistor) and inspect the wiring harness and connector for melted plastic, corrosion, or loose pins.

   Test the right blower motor for excessive amperage draw or physical binding. A failing blower motor drawing too much current will quickly burn out a new replacement resistor.
