Massey Ferguson 10.01.29 – Air Conditioning Module (AIRCON): Issue With Voltage To Air Conditioning Module (AIRCON)
Issue description
The electronic control system has detected that the electrical supply voltage reaching the Air Conditioning Module is outside of the expected operating parameters (typically either a low voltage drop, an over-voltage condition, or an open circuit/loss of power).

Check the cause
Verify battery voltage (should be ~12.6V when off) and alternator output to rule out low system voltage triggering the code
Inspect the cab fuse box (CAB35) for blown fuses and check the AC relay (R14) assigned to the air conditioning system
Inspect the wiring harness leading to the AIRCON module for chafed wires, loose ground connections, or corroded pins
Perform a voltage drop test by disconnecting the AIRCON module and measuring supply voltage at the connector pins with the ignition ON
Repair steps
Disconnect Power
Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts during repair.
Access the Module
Remove the interior cab trim panels necessary to access the Air Conditioning Module / Climate Control Panel.
Repair Supply Issues
If the diagnostic checks revealed a blown fuse, faulty relay, or damaged wire, replace the fuse/relay or splice/repair the damaged wiring harness section.
Replace the Module (if necessary)
If the wiring harness delivers the correct voltage and ground to the module connector, but the fault code persists and the AC system remains unresponsive, the module itself has failed internally. Unplug the electrical connectors from the rear of the module, unbolt or unclip the module from its mounting bracket, and install the new OEM replacement module and reconnect the harnesses.
Reassemble and Clear Codes
Reinstall the cab trim panels, reconnect the battery, and turn the ignition ON. Use a diagnostic tool or the tractor's terminal display to clear the 10.01.29 fault code, then test the HVAC system for proper operation.
