Massey Ferguson 10.01.32 – Air Conditioning Module (AIRCON): Issue With Signal To Right Cab Fan Speed Controller (AIRCON)

The electronic control system is detecting an irregular, missing, or out-of-range electrical signal from the right-side cab blower motor resistor/speed controller. This usually results in the right-side air conditioning fan failing to operate, operating only on a single speed (usually high), or working intermittently.

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the right cab fan speed controller (module A7) for physical damage, breaks, or chafing against the cab frame

   Disconnect the plug at the blower motor resistor and check for melted plastic, burnt pins, or heavy corrosion

   Use a multi-meter to verify that proper voltage is reaching the controller coil/resistor

   Test the blower motor for seizing or high resistance, as excessive amperage draw can burn out the speed controller

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor ignition and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts.

   Access the HVAC Unit

   Locate the right-side blower motor assembly. Depending on the specific cab model, this is typically accessed by removing the interior roof liner/headliner panels or the side console panels where the HVAC unit is housed.

   Disconnect the Controller

   Locate the right cab fan speed controller (blower motor resistor) mounted on or near the blower housing. Depress the locking tab and pull the electrical connector free.

   Remove the Faulty Unit

   Remove the retaining screws holding the speed controller/resistor block into the HVAC ducting. Pull the unit straight out.

   Install the New Part

   Insert the replacement fan speed controller into the housing. Secure it with the retaining screws.

   Reconnect and Reassemble

   Plug the electrical connector back in until it clicks. Reinstall the cab panels or headliner.

   Test

   Reconnect the battery, turn on the ignition, and test the right-side AIRCON fan through all speed settings to ensure the fault is cleared and operation is restored.
