Check the cause

  1. Inspect the cab fuse box for any blown fuses related to the HVAC system, AIRCON module, or cab blowers.

  2. Inspect the wiring harness between the AIRCON module and the right cab fan speed controller for visible damage, chafing, or breaks.

  3. Use a multimeter to check for proper voltage reaching the right fan speed controller and check the signal wire for continuity back to the AIRCON module.

  4. Ensure the right cab blower motor itself has not seized or shorted out.

Repair steps

  1. Disconnect battery

Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery isolator/ground cable to prevent electrical shorts.

  2. Access HVAC blower assembly

Access the HVAC blower assembly, which is typically located in the cab roof (access panels will need to be removed).

  3. Locate speed controller

Locate the right cab fan speed controller (blower motor resistor) mounted near or on the right blower motor housing.

  4. Disconnect wiring harness

Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the controller.

  5. Remove faulty controller

Remove the retaining screws and pull out the faulty speed controller.

  6. Install replacement controller

Install the replacement controller and secure it with the mounting screws.

  7. Reconnect wiring harness

    Reconnect the electrical wiring harness.

  8. Reassemble access panels

Reassemble the cab roof/HVAC access panels.

  9. Test blower operation

Reconnect the battery, turn on the tractor's ignition, and test the air conditioning fan speeds to confirm the right blower operates correctly across all speed settings.

  10. Clear fault codes

Clear the fault codes using the AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) or via the tractor's dashboard diagnostic menu.
