Check the cause
Inspect the primary (outer) and secondary (inner) air filters for heavy dirt accumulation or blockages
Test the air filter blockage switch (sensor) to determine if it is faulty or sending a false signal to the ECU
Inspect the electrical harness and connector paths leading to the air filter blocked sensor for damage, corrosion, or an open circuit
Repair steps
Clean or Replace the Air Filter
Open the air cleaner housing and remove the outer air filter. Clean the housing of any loose debris. If the filter is blocked, replace it with a new one.
Replace the Inner Filter
If the outer filter is heavily soiled, replace the inner safety filter as well.
Verify the Switch
If replacing the filters does not clear the 00107.18 code, locate the air filter blockage switch on the air intake housing.
Replace the Switch
Disconnect the electrical lead to the switch. Remove the faulty switch and install a replacement.
Clear Codes
Turn the tractor on to verify the dash warning has cleared. If necessary, use a diagnostic tool to clear the stored ECU code.
