   Use a handheld diagnostic tool or the tractor's dashboard control panel to enter diagnostic mode and verify if the code is active or stored. Check for accompanying codes (like 13.00.07 or 13.00.08) which also point to air brake solenoid issues.

   Inspect the wiring harness leading from the TRANS1 module to the air brake park brake solenoid. Look for chafed wires, corrosion, or loose pins in the connector.

   Use a multimeter to check for proper voltage supply to the solenoid when the park brake is engaged/disengaged. Test the solenoid coil's internal resistance to see if it is shorted to ground or open.

   Ensure the tractor's air brake system is building and maintaining proper operating pressure, as low pressure can sometimes trigger secondary solenoid actuation faults.

   Safety First

   Park the tractor on a level surface, chock the wheels (since the park brake system is being serviced), and disconnect the battery to prevent accidental short circuits.

   Depressurize the System

   Safely bleed the air pressure from the tractor's air brake reservoirs to prevent injury when removing pneumatic components.

   Locate the Solenoid

   Locate the air brake control valve block (typically mounted near the transmission housing or rear axle, depending on the specific model). Identify the specific park brake solenoid.

   Removal

   Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the solenoid. Remove the retaining screws or threaded fitting holding the solenoid to the valve block.

   Installation

   Clean the mounting surface. Install the new solenoid, ensuring that all O-rings or pneumatic seals are properly seated and lubricated. Tighten to the manufacturer's torque specification.
