   Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level, as low fluid can cause a loss of hydraulic pressure across the steering and braking systems

   Inspect the hydraulic and transmission filters for blockages or clogs that could restrict flow and cause a pressure loss

   Inspect the wiring harness and the connector at the emergency steering pressure switch for corrosion, frayed wires, or open/short circuits

   Test the signal voltage of the emergency steering pressure switch/sensor to verify if it is reading out of range

   Inspect the emergency steering pump and associated hydraulic lines for visible leaks or mechanical failure

   Depressurize the System

   Safely park the tractor on level ground, turn off the engine, and relieve hydraulic pressure before opening any lines or removing sensors.

   Locate the Sensor

   Locate the emergency steering pressure switch/sensor, which is typically mounted on the steering valve block or directly on the emergency steering pump circuit.

   Repair Wiring (If Applicable)

   If the diagnostic checks revealed damaged wiring or a corroded connector, repair the harness or replace the pigtail connector.

   Replace the Sensor

   If the wiring is intact but the sensor failed the voltage test (or is leaking internally), unscrew the faulty emergency steering pressure switch and install the replacement.

   Bleed and Refill

   Top off the hydraulic/transmission fluid to the correct level if any was lost during the sensor swap.

   Clear the Fault Code

   Access the tractor's diagnostic interface (via the dash panel or a handheld diagnostic tool) to clear code 13.00.38 from the TRANS1 module.

   Test Operation

   Start the tractor and verify that the dashboard warning light extinguishes and that steering functions operate normally without logging the code again.
