Massey Ferguson 13.01.47 – HITCH: Park Brake Switch Not Closing When Park Brake Disengaged Dyna 6 (HITCH)

This fault indicates a mismatch between the physical position of the parking brake and the electrical signal being sent to the control unit. Specifically, when the operator disengages (releases) the parking brake, the safety switch is supposed to close its electrical circuit.    Switch Adjustment: Verify that the switch is mounted securely. If the mounting bracket is bent or loose, the switch plunger may not be depressed far enough by the lever to close the internal contacts.
