Issue description
The system has detected an anomaly in the emergency steering hydraulic pressure circuit. Check the cause
Visual & Harness Inspection: Inspect the wiring harness leading to the emergency steering pressure sensor. Look for chafed wires, corrosion, or loose connector pins that could cause a signal interruption to the TRANS1 module.
Sensor Electrical Test: Using a multimeter, verify that the sensor is receiving the correct reference voltage and ground from the TRANS1 controller. Check the signal wire for continuity.
Mechanical Pressure Test: Before condemning the sensor, connect a mechanical hydraulic pressure gauge to the emergency steering circuit test port. Compare the actual physical pressure against the sensor's live data reading on the diagnostic tool.
Hydraulic System Check: If the mechanical gauge confirms low pressure, the issue is mechanical (e.g., a failing emergency steering pump, a stuck relief valve, or a hydraulic leak) rather than an electrical sensor failure.
Repair steps
Depressurize the System
Ensure the tractor is turned off, the parking brake is engaged, and the hydraulic system is fully depressurized before opening any lines.
Address Wiring (If Applicable)
If the diagnostic checks revealed a wiring fault, repair the broken wire or replace the damaged connector pigtail.
Replace the Sensor (If Faulty)
If the mechanical pressure is within spec but the sensor reading is erratic or dead, disconnect the electrical harness from the emergency steering pressure sensor. Unthread the old sensor from the hydraulic block. Install the new sensor, torque to OEM specifications, and reconnect the harness.
Repair Hydraulic Components (If Applicable)

Test Drive
Start the tractor and perform a steering function test to ensure the emergency steering system pressurizes correctly and the code does not return.
