  2. Depressurize the System

    Safely drain the air from the tractor's pneumatic brake reservoirs using the drain lanyards/valves to prevent injury when removing the valve.

  3. Locate the Valve

    Locate the air brake solenoid valve assembly (typically mounted on the chassis near the transmission housing or air tanks).

  4. Disconnect

    Unplug the electrical connector from the solenoid.

  5. Remove Air Lines

    Mark the pneumatic lines for reinstallation, then push in the quick-release collars (or loosen the threaded fittings) to remove the air lines from the valve body.

  6. Remove and Replace

    Unbolt the solenoid valve bracket from the chassis. Mount the new OEM replacement valve.

  7. Reassemble

    Reconnect the air lines securely and plug in the electrical connector.

  8. Test

    Reconnect the battery, start the tractor, and allow the air system to build pressure. Test the brake operation and check for air leaks with soapy water.

  9. Clear Codes

    Use the tractor's dashboard diagnostic menu or a dealer service tool to clear the 13.03.09 inactive fault code from the TRANS1 module.
